This charter is done in the cywydd style of Welsh poetry popular in the 14th century. Cywydd poems were poems of praise of worthy persons. A bard who composed and performed cywydd was known as a cywyddwyr. Cywydd poems were composed of rhyming couplets, where each line had exactly seven syllables. I was able to do this in English and for everything but the date at the end. They also had a very complicated internal structure (“cynghanedd”) which, IMHO, cannot be mimicked in English due to the significant differences in the usage of consonants. I did not even attempt this.
The words for the herald:
Hearken, gentles good and fair.
Nobles all: attend this prayer.
Kjartan, king, commands your will;
Sha’ya, queen, who hearts bestill;
Words They have for you to hear.
Nobles, gentles, gather near.
Wise council have They received,
Of one whose arts are conceived
From Beauty wed to high Skill.
In woolens, linens, tweeds, twill,
Silk, and cotton she weaves gold
As they did in days of old.
Tales of yore she illustrates;
Through stitchery demonstrates
Intarsia best’ary
Needlework as from Faerie.
Angharat verch Reynulf hight;
Oftentimes in purple dight.
Sha’ya, queen, and Kjartan, king,
Command the Cywyddwyr sing:
Name her Mistress! Praise her name!
Let all An Tir know her fame!
The Order of the Laurel
Shall add her to their choral.
Be it known this twentieth day of July
Anno Societatis LIV, being 2019 Gregorian.

O Harddwch, hyd at Sgil uchel.
Mewn woolensau, llieiniau, trydar, twill,

Gwaith nodedig fel o Faerie.
